Suave Collective Publishing in collaboration with Beatnpress and The Modernist Beat Collective:

In 1970 John Lennon delivered Instant Karma, a song that he announced “ wrote it for breakfast, recorded it for lunch, and we're putting it out for dinner." It was written and recorded in one mammoth 24hr session with Phil Spector in the producer's chair and pressed and into the shops in just 10 days. Taking that as our inspiration, along with the idiom that a picture paints a thousand words six modern poets from the current crop of Modernist Beat Poets have joined to undertake a similar adventure.

Each choosing a brace of images and presented together at one time. The six poets each taking their own visual cues from the imagery, then pen a dozen different poems in their unique voices, delivering six takes on each image and a total of 72 poems in total.. all within 30 days.. we all shine on!

Volume one features the talents of Jason Brummell, Jason Disley, Garrie Grant, Danny Gray. Becky Nuttall and Curtis Tappenden
